The European Symposium on Border Surveillance and Search and Rescue operations Technology will take place in Heraklion, Crete (Greece) on 27th to 28th November 2014. For the first time researchers, industry and academia representing sixteen European R&D projects on Border Surveillance and SaR shall join in order to present, exhibit and demonstrate the fruits of their activity during the last seven years. At the same time policy and decision makers shall have the opportunity to become aware with the capabilities and potential of the relevant EU research community.
