Videmo Intelligente Videoanalyse is a private company providing innovative software systems and solutions for automatic image and video analysis. Videmo was founded in 2008 as a spin-off of the University of Karlsruhe, now Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), with which it maintains a strong R&D cooperation.
Videmo's main area of expertise is the creation of software solutions for face detection, analysis and identification, as well as for character and sign recognition. For this, the company builds on a catalogue of own, in-house developed algorithms and techniques, which are constantly being improved and provide optimal results even under difficult conditions or with low resolution images.
